    Before owning a bicycle shop for nine years Art was a mechanical engineer. His mountain bike team was number one on the east coast in the late '80s and early '90s. He has lead seven mountain bike trips in the Himalayas and numerous other bike trips around the world. He rides his bicycle year round as a bicycle commuter, and has worked in bike shops for over 30 years. Currently he has a small bicycle repair business out of his barn.
