This course will provide a wide-ranging, fast-paced introduction to Python Computer Language. Whether you are a novice learning simple functions for the first time, or you are already a master of Boolean logic, Mr. Peterson is eager to help you learn to code. This class is designed to provide a foundation for further studies in computer science.
Prerequisites: An inquisitive mind and the willingness to learn problem solving skills using algorithms.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
My name is Phillip Peterson and I teach Design & Technology at Camels Hump Middle School. I graduated from UVM with my BS in Civil Engineering and have worked as a land surveyor and staff engineer before I started teaching. I was a member of TAP (Teachers Apprenticeship Program) and did my student teaching at Colchester Middle School. I am a member of ASCE (American Society of Civil Engineers), The Order of The Engineer, and the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM). Before teaching Design & Technology at CHMS, I taught math, science, and computer science at a private school.
