Are you on digital overload? Have you been curious to find out how a simple yoga practice might help you create more flexibility and strength as you focus inward? Are you in need of a place to quietly stretch, relax and breathe deeply at the end of a busy day?
Try Gentle Flow Yoga! Come learn simple forms of pranayama, meditation and gently flow through a basic hatha yoga asana practice in order to come to a place of stillness. The yoga practice is done in bare feet.
Please hydrate throughout the day, not just before class. Arrive 5-10 min early to get settled on your yoga mat and so we can start on time.
It is recommended that you come to class with an empty stomach; if you must eat something, have a piece of fruit, a small yogurt or tea.
- a yoga (sticky) mat and any props (thick blanket, yoga block, yoga strap) if you have them.
- Wear flexible, fitted clothing (e.g. you don't want your shirt flying up over your head when you do a forward bend)
- sweater or sweatshirt (for the beginning of class until we get warmed up and for the closing of class during relaxation)
- water bottle
