Open to parents, students, staff and community members looking to learn about some of the free Google tools included with a Gmail account. These are beginner workshops for learning these online tools. It is also great as a refresher if you want to practice things you haven’t done in a while. This series will provide hands-on time for practice.
Wed, Nov 2 - Using Google Docs/Online word processing
Learn how to share documents, work on them with others at the same time and add comments. Insert pictures, change font colors and add hyperlinks to your documents. All files that are saved in Google Docs are accessible from any computer. Find out more on this easy to use tool that is free.
Wed Nov 9 - Google Photos & YouTube to create photo slideshows.
Do you have pictures from a gathering or vacation that you would like to share with family or friends? In this session we will upload photos to your Google photo area, create a photo album and then create a photo slideshow that you can easily share with others. Please bring 10 digital pictures or have access to them online for this session.

About Your Instructor:
Jean Campbell has worked as a Network Engineer for CESU schools for 14 years and is an Authorized Google Education Trainer. She has taught graduate level classes for the Google Tools for Schools Summer Institute in Vermont. She works with adults and students showing them the many various tools that Google has to offer.
