New offering for intermediate birders and beginners who took last year’s beginning birding series!

Intermediate Birding, Season by Season – Are you familiar with some of Vermont’s birds but would like to know more? This class has five sessions starting in October and ending in May.

Each class focuses on a different season and different birds. (If weather permits, and depending on the wishes of class participants, each class will be followed by a field trip.)
The October class is about fall migration, including Snow Geese.

In November, we’ll talk about seasonal changes in Vermont’s raptor population and about wintering owls.

January’s class will be about winter ducks and the big flocks of little birds that forage in the agricultural fields of Addison County.

In March, we’ll talk about eagles and early spring migrants, and in May we’ll welcome back songbirds and warblers.
