Instructor: Liz Perkins, CHHC www.lizperkinsnourishing.com
In this two week course, we will learn a short whole foods cleanse that you can do at home to reboot your energy, ability to digest foods and perhaps lose some weight. In the first class, we will talk about the four days of the cleanse and embark on it together as a class. We will set up a way to talk together, either Facebook or google hangout so you have support and community as you cleanse at home. The second class is all about life beyond the cleanse, how to keep that cleanse glow going and keep balanced through the winter.
We will spend time learning a few key recipes, eating some foods already prepared by Liz and Liz will present a 45 minute lecture as well with time for questions and answers at the end.

I am writing to provide feedback on the Whole Foods Cleanse Course I attended earlier this year, facilitated and taught by Liz Perkins.
The first thing I must say is that the course gave me clear instructions, great educational back up regarding how and why the cleanse works and what to expect, the herbs and food needed to do the cleanse, the available support while I did the cleanse, and great discussion afterward.
The cleanse was a great success, I lost weight as was promised, and have never felt better.
Regarding Ms. Perkins preparation, instruction and leadership, I found our instructor to be very well versed in the subject matter. Her presentation was educational and thorough, and her teaching style very approachable. The class felt very comfortable asking questions and Ms. Perkins did a great job answering questions and providing very good feedback and guidance.
The workshop classes were perfectly matched with the cleanse experience. I would recommend the course and the cleanse to anyone interested in improving their health and wellness, and would recommend Ms

About Your Instructor:
Liz is a children’s holistic health advocate for families of kids who want to find their balance, eat their veggies and beat cravings. Through her master’s of science, college teaching and health coaching certifications, her healing expertise and her own experience as mom of a leukemia survivor, she’s here to show you how to have healthier, happier kids, while making it all feel fun and easy. Her clients have called her calm and knowledgeable and thank her for helping their kids shift to a better place. And when she’s not busy coaching, she can be found trying to make the ultimate chewable gummy bear vitamin with immunity boosting herbs for kids, swimming in Lake Champlain and walking the trails. She lives in Richmond Village with her cured son. Something you might not know about Liz is that she worked as a vegetable inspector at NOFA-VT for 10 years.
