Participants should be able to move up and down from the mat easily. Seated, standing and balancing hatha yoga postures will be used to relax the body and allow the mind to settle. If you want to increase flexibility, tune out from a long day at work, release tension and have fun, this class is for you.
Pranayama (breathing exercises) and meditation will be included.
Please do not eat 1.5 hrs before class. Come hydrated. Please arrive 10 minutes early so class can start on time. Bring your own yoga sticky mat. The practice is done barefoot. Yoga props will be provided. Participants with injury should bring a doctor's note stating they are ok to practice yoga.

Lee has been teaching yoga since 2012 and practicing since 2001. She is a 200-hour Yoga Alliance registered instructor. She recently completed "Principles and Practices of Partner Yoga™" Level II training and enjoys incorporating partner yoga into community classes.
In the past she taught a community yoga class at Richmond Free Library, accepting half of the class fee in donated food items for the local food shelf. Lee is also the event organizer for "Yoga On Church Street", a free annual community yoga event that raises awareness and donations for Prevent Child Abuse Vermont.
