A great way to unwind at the end of a day! Gentle Yoga is known to improve strength and flexibility, increase body awareness, and release stress. It also offers the same powerful physical, mental and spiritual benefits as other more vigorous yoga practices. In this series we will practice Yoga postures, breathing, and body awareness.
Students need to provide their own mat and plan to arrive 10-15 minutes before each class. Comfortable clothing is highly recommended.

Ellen has more than 25 years’ experience in the exercise industry and working with the aging population. She received her RYT-200 certificate through the UVM Yoga Teacher Training Program, under the guidance of John McConnell, in April 2013, and currently instructs yoga classes at Sweet Yoga Health and Fitness in Hinesburg, and Balance Yoga Studio in Richmond.
